Then I load up my kiln, set the program... and wait. And wait. It takes hours for fused glass to go from the raw material to beautiful, sparkly pendants and earrings. And, as if the waiting wasn't bad enough, there is also the unknown. Will they turn out to look like the vision I had in my head? Some yes, some no. Which will it be this time?
Finally, they're out. And it looks like I got a few good ones!

Excellent pieces. I know what you mean about hurry up and wait. I feel the same way when I go looking for vintage cabochons. I mostly order them, and then I have to wait for them to ship. Its especially bad when I find something lovely from another country and I have to sometimes wait weeks for the item to arrive.
Toni- That is so awesome!! When I was in SD last summer I went to Spanish Village in Balboa Park and that is when I was introduced to kilns. Wow! I envy you that you are doing it and I'm not.
